The verdict is in....

The letter finally came...

I was nervous to open it up....

Literally, I was debating on waiting to open it until later because I was so nervous.....

However, I decided that whatever the letter had to say, it wasn't going to change whether I opened it now to read it or later.

So...

I opened it...

and it said.....

"Congratulations!" Yay! I got in to Cleveland Chiropractic College, Kansas City. I called a bunch of friends, and told my family once they arrived home, and heard many congratulations! I was able to talk to a couple friends of mine who are chiropractors, and who went to CCC, so they were able to share in this experience with me. Plus, they've heard me vent about the frustrations of the process, so it was wonderful to be able to share something that was so exciting! Anyway, so as you can guess, I'm ecstatic, and can't believe that this is happening for me. I have a bunch to get done before starting CCC, and even more once I start, but 5 years from now and I'll be finished with this part of my journey.

Wonderful Wednesday!

Oh man what a great day! So I got an e-mail from my boss at church to see if I could help out on a temporary position while they're going through some changes, and of course being that I loved working there the first time agreed! Today was my first day back, but it felt as if I hadn't been gone a day! It was great seeing everyone again, seeing their double takes because I was working there again.

I love working at my church, because well I love my church, but the people are amazing! At my last job, same thing, the people were amazing! I tell you what, the next place I work will be hard to top these two amazing places because they set the bar pretty high! I miss my friends/co-workers at my last job, but it's really great to come back to a job that I loved so much before I left, and can't wait to help out again some more!

After work I went and got my hair cut and styled, and I love it! It's been a LONG time since I've had anything done to it and boy did it need it! So about 4 inches came off, a few layers put in, and a few highlights too! It really looks great! Also I got some wonderful Christmas cards from some wonderful friends, which was a pleasant surprise when I got home! Okay well I just thought I'd share my wonderful day! Over and out!

A short update...

I know I've been MIA for a while, so I thought I'd try and update this a little bit. I'm back in South Bend for a while now...about 8 months. I graduated from massage therapy school just under a month ago now and passed my boards a couple days ago. I'm signed up for a handful of classes this coming semester to help me on my way towards DC school. I'll end up taking a few more classes in the summer, but then my plan is to head back out to KC and take a couple more classes through Cleveland before starting the DC program in a year! Yikes that's going to go by fast! Exciting, but stressful at the same time. I'm already planning a couple trips out to KC, which I'm really looking forward to. It will be great to be home as well, time to relax a little and enjoy everything around here that I haven't had in such a long time! Okay well I'm going to keep this short and sweet for now! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
